25-05-2018 is the mandatory date of the obligation of all public and private sector companies, based in the countries of the European Union, to comply with the requirements of 679 / 2016 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which has been voted by the members of EU Parliament in April 2016. It was designed with the aim of harmonizing data privacy laws across Europe to protect and empower all EU citizens’ data privacy and to reshape the way organizations across the region approach data privacy.
